"The hotel and restaurant were absolutely marvelous!"
We were on a family short-break in order to visit Beamish. Three generations of one family found the hotel and the staff met our every need. The staff were pleasant and really helpful. The rooms were really well appointed and very comfortable. Everywhere was spotlessly clean.
Stylish decor made us feel that our stay was a real treat. The menus were excellent and the portions very generous. The food was well cooked and well presented.
Only negative was you are fully booked when we want to return!

"A Pleasure"
We were staying to watch the Take That concert and I have to say the hotel completed an excellent trip to the North East for us. The staff were friendly, the service was great and the food was excellent.
It was a great location. A short distance to the Stadium of Light and also the coast. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff were very helpful. The food was quality and great value.

"lovely hotel conveniently placed for wedding at Seaham Hall"
The hotel was easy to find and was well placed for a wedding event at Seaham Hall, which charges an astronomical amount. Rooms very clean and modern. Breakfast very nice and more than enough. Would visit again.

"Hotel was the highlight of our weekend!"
We were on a weekend break to visit Durham and the Beamish Museum!
Decor was lovely! Very well furnished throughout the hotel. Really nice outdoor area for sitting out in the sun. Restaurant was very nice Food was top class! Presentation was beautiful!

"excellent food and service from very helpful staff"
Ideal location for my work, very friendly and helpful staff and the room was good. I needed internet connection and that worked well.
I chose the hotel having looked at the menu on the internet, as I was keen to have a good evening meal. The food was excellent, with a good range of choices.

Very pleasant, in fact we were very impressed with the quality, location, staff, comfort and cleanliness of the entire hotel. locals were very friendly and welcoming too, which just topped our stay off.

The decor, both in the public areas and the rooms is fantastic. The ambience in the restaurant just right. The staff friendly and very attentive at all times.

The food is simply superb! I opted for the special - surf 'n' turf with steak & lobster - WOW! Best steak I have had in this country in over 15 years - melt in the mouth and cooked to perfection!

We have family in the area and will probably not want to stay anywhere else again, when we visit!

What a fantastic find! This was a very last minute booking after being let down elsewhere and we struck very lucky indeed!

I came up to the Northeast for the Great North Run and stayed in the Seaton Lane Inn. I'll be honest - for the price I paid for a double room my expectations were quite low! What a pleasure to stay at this fantastic hotel. The service, the facilities and the food were top class - thanks to you all!
